Why people buy pheasants
The table
Ringnecks are a lean, flavorful game bird. Many customers buy them to roast, smoke, or serve for a special meal. Ask us about live birds versus what you plan to process at home.
Hunting
Flight-conditioned roosters are a favorite for put-and-take hunts and private-land shoots. They flush hard and give hunters a true upland experience close to home.
Stocking
Landowners release birds to build a local population or add birds before a hunt. Cover, food, and a quiet release site matter more than the number of birds alone.
Dog training
Planted pheasants are one of the best ways to steady a pointing or flushing dog. The videos below show a simple field-plant method used to train dogs.
